Meet the Team

P101 Scientific & Technological Team

The P101 Scientific and Technological Team brings together a multidisciplinary group of experts with extensive experience in CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) risk management, critical infrastructure protection, and advanced technological solutions. The team’s expertise spans aerothermodynamics, cybersecurity, physical protection systems, industrial and technological risk assessments, and legal frameworks for CBRN compliance.

By leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as digital twins, AI-driven risk modelling, and space-based monitoring systems, the team focuses on enhancing the resilience of CBRN critical infrastructures across Southeast & Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East.

Their work includes developing innovative methodologies for physical protection, improving cybersecurity resilience of CBRN facilities, and facilitating knowledge transfer through in-flight research, field assessments, and technical advisory services.

Following the inception phase, this team will expand during the implementation phase to incorporate additional subject matter experts tailored to the specific needs and gaps identified across the 19 partner countries. This expansion will enable the team to design and deliver customized capacity-building activities, ensuring that trainings and technical support are responsive to the distinct CBRN-related challenges faced by each partner country.

P101 Operations Support Team

The P101 Operations Support Team is dedicated to providing comprehensive administrative, logistical, and financial support to ensure the seamless execution of the project’s activities. This team manages essential operational functions, including coordinating travel arrangements, organizing meetings and consultative visits, maintaining budget oversight, and ensuring compliance with the European Union’s procedural and financial guidelines. By streamlining communication between project partners, monitoring timelines, and handling document management, the Operations Support Team plays a critical role in supporting the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the P101 project.

Focused solely on operational aspects, the team ensures that the scientific, technological, and capacity-building components of the project are executed without disruption. Their work facilitates smooth coordination across multiple regions, enabling the technical teams to concentrate on the project’s core objectives of enhancing CBRN critical infrastructure protection, physical security, and cybersecurity.
